Who are we?

Welcome to the Villas des Lacs, a project of the heart, born of our family history and our deep attachment to our region, the Aube.

We are Joane et Nathalie, a passionate couple who decided to return to our roots after almost 20 years in Paris. Originally from the Aube region, it was here that we decided to build, with our own hands, a place to live and then holiday, in keeping with our values: welcome, comfort, authenticity and respect for the environment.

 

A family adventure

Our adventure begins with the Villa Temple, this was our first home, and we built it entirely ourselves. A few years later, we built the Villa Amance, we also lived in these two houses before offering them for seasonal rental.

Today, we live with our two children in an old farmhouse nearby, which we are gradually renovating with the same passion. In the meantime, the two villas are available to rent all year round for holidays with family, friends or couples.

Designed with passion and respect for the environment, our single-storey timber-frame houses combine modern comfort with energy efficiency.
Thanks to their high-performance windowsThis will be achieved thanks to the use of eco-responsible equipment (heat pump, double-flow ventilation system, Canadian well, composting, selective sorting) and to a generous vegetation home to the local fauna, they offer an ideal place to stay. sustainable, peaceful and naturally bright.

A complementary team

  • Joane I'm a former Paris firefighter, and today I'm in charge of the upkeep, preparation and smooth running of the villas. I spend the rest of my time renovating our family farm.
  • Nathalie As head of logistics sites near Troyes, I'm responsible for the reservation management, we are responsible for the relationship with our guests and the smooth running of your stay.

A region we love to share

Our attachment to Aube, and in particular to the Lacs de Champagne region, runs deep. We know its treasures, its landscapes, its activities and its craftsmen. It's a pleasure for us to welcome and advise you to make your stay a wonderful discovery.

Each villa has been designed and built with deep respect for the environment. These single-storey timber-frame houses blend naturally into the landscape and use sustainable and renewable materials.
Notre démarche d’autoconstruction repose sur une conviction simple: offrir un lieu de vie confortable tout en préservant la nature qui nous entoure.
Bâties selon la RT2012 standard, our homes are basse consommation and equipped with heat pumps, from thermodynamic water heaters, a VMC double flux and a Canadian well, to guarantee optimum comfort in all seasons.
A large, high-performance windows bathe interiors in natural light while preserving energy performance.
We have chosen a reinforced over-insulation, a natural sun protection, the selective sorting and the provision of a compost, to reduce our ecological footprint as much as possible.
Around each villa, a abundant vegetation - trees, hedges and bushes - offers a green and peaceful setting, véritable refuge pour la faune locale. These plantings make the grounds particularly pleasant and lively all year round.
Every detail has been designed to combine well-being, sustainability and respect for the planet.
